To instill in each member a deep Christian faith through greater personal commitment to Jesus Christ is the goal of the Altar Guild.  The Guild is responsible for the needs of the sanctuary, actively participates in the parish community and supports various charities in the community.  The Guild schedules monthly meetings September through April and all women of the parish are eligible for membership.

The St. Thomas Women's Circles are the helping hands of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Below are some of the many ways we are honored to serve the church, its parishioners, and local charities:

• Provide fellowship for the women of St. Thomas
• Purchase the bread and the wine used at Mass
• Purchase vestments for our priests
• Provide two meals annually for the Catholic Student Center at WTAMU
• Gifts to clergy and seminarians
• Gifts to various local women groups and religious groups (e.g., Downtown Women's Center)
• Provide for the cleaning of the altar area
• Provide pamphlets for distribution at the parish
• Sponsor the receptions for Communion and Confirmation Ceremonies
• Provide and staff funeral meals 
• Supply and staff the Gift Shop in the Bell Tower
